Exchanges
Children Inspiring Hope connects children cross-culturally, twice a year, through arts and education projects based on our shared humanity, peace building, and Earth stewardship.
Fall 2024
Cultivating Gratitude
This fall, we are celebrating 16 years of bridging students in the U.S. and Ghana. Our focus will be on Cultivating Gratitude and harnessing the energy of purposefulness. Grateful living is an orientation to life that changes our perspectives, helps us flourish, and builds character, strong relationships and even improves our health. Gratitude generates a climate of positivity that begins internally, but extends outward.
Spring 2024
We continue the exploration of generosity with a focus on Water: Love Blue. While Planet Earth is over 70% water, only 3% of this is fresh water. Nearly everything we are connected to, and that sustains life, is connected to water. Students will explore inspiration from the natural world, the power of nature to restore when in balance, and share creatively ways to share the beauty, wonder, and inspiration to be stewards and protectors of this sacred element.
Our Reach.
Since 2008, Children Inspiring Hope has connected over 8,000 students in Canada, Ghana, West Africa, and the United States. We have collaborated with over 225 educators in more than 35 schools, and built lasting relationships in the communities in which we work.
