For Kids, From Kids
“We shouldn't teach great books; we should teach a love of reading.”
B.F. Skinner
Students at Cliff Valley School in Atlanta, GA, wanted to do something special and unique for their friends in Ghana. They decided, completely on their own, to run a school-wide book drive. Students collected over a hundred storybooks and had them shipped to Ghana. The books were donated, this past August, to two of our schools in the community of Ho. CIH’s Chief of Operations, Kelvin Delali, presented the books to the staff and students, who, he reported, were enthusiastic and thankful for this unexpected gift. We are thrilled to extend our gratitude to the students, staff, and parents of Cliff Valley School for working together to cultivate a community of giving and for sharing their love of reading with others around the world.
